London Fashion Week spring/summer 2020 was an event.. as always. Full to the brim with delightful looks to please every fashionista. From Burberry's beautiful re-vamp to Molly Goddard's signature tulle accents and Rejina Pyo's preppy chic collection for spring 2020.
REJINA PYO SS20
Rejina Pyo's ready-to-wear collection for spring 2020 was full to the brim with preppy prints, chic textures and a neutral colour palette (with just a pop of colour for transitioning into the summer). Clueless vibes are prominent with multiple looks – especially the yellow check two piece suit. The backdrop for the runway was a book shelf which really added to the overall collegiate feel of the collection.BURBERRY SS20 – EVOLUTION
Burberry's SS20 collection is different when compared to this time last year, when Christopher Bailey was in the driving seat. Riccardo Tisci's Burberry SS20 collection had a different vibe to past collections. Empty of Burberry's signature Nova Check and lacking of the whimsical boho feels from previous runways, this collection was different in every sense of the word. A cool colour palette was prominent as were the appearances of glittering embellishments – two things that Burberry and Bailey never really showcased throughout his reign. Whimsical has been replaced for modern while the recognisable serif Burberry logo has been replaced with their new(ish) sans serif font. The classic Burberry trench made a few appearances, each in a completely different way – one very classic and another embellished with crystals.MOLLY GODDARD SS20
Tulle. Tulle. And more tulle. A beautiful collection from Molly Goddard for her SS20 collection. Ankle-length dresses and skirts, miles of tulle and an abundance of embellishments – this collection is truly breathtaking, whimsical, romantic and highly feminine too. The soft silhouettes of the outfits, the way the tulle flows and the way in which the accessories clash – all of this adds an edge to her collection. Blues and yellows were prominent throughout this collection (they seem to be hot colour trends for SS20).ANYA HINDMARCH SS20
Anya Hindmarch has been a favourite designer of mine since I jumped head first into the world of fashion back in 2014. Her 'Counter Culture' collection from when she was at the top of her game was and always be a firm favourite collection of mine. Although, could her 'Post Box Maze' top her 'Counter Culture' collection? Maybe. Taking mundane everyday items and turning them into couture, Anya has gone and done it again. As a lover of all things hand-written and tangible, when I discovered that Hindmarch's SS20 collection was based around 1) the colour red and 2) letter writing – I fell in love before I even set eyes on anything. Stunning bags shaped like envelopes and purses too, beautiful bespoke pieces that can have an address and special date embossed onto the leather, and a bag that resembles an actual postbox – could this collection be anymore dreamy?HOUSE OF HOLLAND SS20
House Of Holland's spring/summer 2020 showcase featured a whole host of bright pops of colour. Inspired by the 1970s, House Of Holland combined relaxed styles with more structured garments. From blazers to dungarees and sheer shirts to lounge suits – this collection is free, easy, relaxed and groovy.ERDEM SS20
Inspired by the Italian actress and activist Tina Modotti, Erdem's SS20 collection combined bold colours and modern styling with Victorian style gowns and garments. Modotti apparently dressed as a form of self expression during tough times before suddenly passing away in 1942. Showcased outside in a rather dreary environment, Erdem's collection lit up the location with the beautiful prints, colours and designs.
The spring and summer of 2020 looks bright, bold and as striking as ever. Florals for spring may be groundbreaking, but they certainly don't look to be as groundbreaking in the spring of 2020. Pair blue with yellow, green with purple and crystals with a cool colour palette for the most impactful look in the spring of 2020.

Anya Hindmarch's Autumn/Winter 2015 Showcase at London Fashion Week...
Fashions Finest's events are always amazing and I was lucky enough to attend my second FF LFW show this season! One of my favourite designers from the day was Tinkilove! Tinkilove is a fresh and unique brand designed by Maria-Katharina Richters. Tinkilove is glamorous, upbeat and easy to wear.

Fashions Finest's events are always amazing and I was lucky enough to attend my second FF LFW show this season! One of my favourite designers from the day was Tinkilove! Tinkilove is a fresh and unique brand designed by Maria-Katharina Richters. Tinkilove is glamorous, upbeat and easy to wear.
The collection was full to the brim with Autumnal prints including moody florals which adds that 'Country Bumpkin' chic-ness to our Autumnal wardrobes. Faux fur trimmings also filled the runway, adding that cozy-ness that we all lust after during the colder months of the year.

When I attended London Fashion Week during September I was lucky enough to meet Rosemary Goodenough. Rosemary Goodenough is an amazing artist who has now transformed her divine artwork into wearable pieces of fashion. Rosemary is such an approachable woman and I am so glad that I stopped by to have a chat with her at The Designer Showrooms. We had a good old chat about the designs or shall I say artwork featured on her exquisite scarves, her beautifully designed packaging and much more.
Rosemary has designed a series of collections including my personal favourite - 'Parliament Dawn' which is a breathtaking design that captures the prominent features of The Houses Of Parliament onto a scarf. Rosemary has also designed a scarf that is beyond versatile, a scarf that can be worn as a dress, a coat or a simple wrap - 'The Metamorphic Collection' is a masterpiece in itself and I am sure this trend will cotton on in the fashion world pretty fast - I love it!

I recently interviewed Rosemary herself via email, below are the questions and answers:
Exclusive Q&A with Rosemary Goodenough
Mollie: What inspired you to transform your beautiful pieces of art into divine fashion garments?
Rosemary: What a lovely way to phrase that question, thank you Mollie! The trigger was very simple really, I was exhibiting my Paintings and Sculptures in an exhibition and overheard someone who was looking at my Oil Painting 'Springing Tulips' exclaim "If that painting was a Scarf, I would wear it!". That of course led to many months of painstaking research in order to find the best possible quality manufacturers which led us ultimately to the great Silk Printers near Lake Como in Italy.
Mollie: If you had to choose a favourite piece that you've designed/created, what would it be and why?
Rosemary: That is one question that I find impossible to answer as each piece is only in my Collections if I feel passionately that it is the very best it could possibly be so they are all my favourites!

Rosemary: You do ask difficult and interesting questions Mollie! I have never regarded myself as inspirational but thank you for the lovely compliment. I think more than driven I am simply passionate and obsessed by detail to an extreme degree. My husband Michael Waller-Bridge is incredibly inspiring and equally obsessed by detail and my gorgeous daughters, Nancy La Roux and Amy Nelson always lift my heart and I'm very appreciative of their belief in me.
Mollie: If you could wear one colour for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Rosemary: White, because I always feel happy wearing it.
Mollie: Who is your favourite fashion designer and why?
Rosemary: The designer who inspires me most from history is Erté and currently it would have to be the incomparable Issey Miyake.

As you all know, I was super lucky to have attended London Fashion Week this September and I was even luckier to have met the lovely ladies from the Camilla Elphick shoe brand and also Camilla herself, which was a wonderful moment for me and my blog. Camilla Elphick is an experienced shoe designer that has now launched her very own shoe brand. Camilla has worked with many people and brands that include: Topshop, Donna Karen, Sophia Webster and many more. Her new shoe collection "You Got The Luck" is absolutely flawless. Every pair has been made with TLC in Italy and they all look beyond beautiful too. My favourite pair would probably have to be her 'Black Magic' (pictured above) pointed flats as they are eye-catching, pretty and hence the name, they look magical! I would really love pair as they are so versatile and would look great styled with dresses, jeans, skirts or trousers! As you all know, I was super lucky to have attended London Fashion Week this September and I was even luckier to have met the lovely ladies from the Camilla Elphick shoe brand and also Camilla herself, which was a wonderful moment for me and my blog. Camilla Elphick is an experienced shoe designer that has now launched her very own shoe brand. Camilla has worked with many people and brands that include: Topshop, Donna Karen, Sophia Webster and many more. Her new shoe collection "You Got The Luck" is absolutely flawless. Every pair has been made with TLC in Italy and they all look beyond beautiful too. My favourite pair would probably have to be her 'Black Magic' (pictured above) pointed flats as they are eye-catching, pretty and hence the name, they look magical! I would really love pair as they are so versatile and would look great styled with dresses, jeans, skirts or trousers!
