I've never been keen on tucking my top into my trousers, wearing cropped tops or wearing tighter fitting clothes. When I was younger, probably 13 and under, hiding my chub was number one on my list. Baggy tops, big jumpers and tracksuits – I would never dream of wearing anything other than something that could hid my fat, my curves and my chub.

When you're chubby/fat/curvy, whatever you want to call it – being classy isn't a norm. People presume that being chubby means you can't be classy.. but I want to change this.

People think that looking like you're wearing designer accessories can be expensive, but in all honestly it can be done on the cheap and you can STILL look a million dollars! I'm not blessed with a bottomless bank account and I can't just buy whatever I want when I want (one day I will be able to though.. I've promised myself - #girlboss - but at the moment it's utterly impossible) so looking like I'm dressed in designer clothing is a real must for me... keep reading to see how you can do it too...

A laid back yet chic outfit that's perfect for Spring…

This month I have been a terrible, terrible blogger. I have been so busy and I've missed blogging greatly. Anyway. I'm in sunny Cornwall now staying with my Nan and I'm having a great time. This month has seen me do many fun things that have included going to Madame Tussauds, buying my very first Louis Vuitton handbag, buying lots of clothes, planning to buy a cat and much more. I've been exercising more and also writing lots for the magazine I work for... www.fashionplusmagazine.com! When me and my mum arrive home from Cornwall she said I am allowed to get a cat! I cannot wait! I looked after my Uncle's cat for 6 months and he was basically mine but this time I will know for sure that it's mine... all mine!!!;) I am hoping to call it 'Cashew' as I love Cashew Nuts and it's a really cute/sweet little name. haha.. At the begginng of this month we took a day trip to Madame Tussauds, which wasn't really that great to be honest. The wax figures didn't look realistic, the One Direction figures wasn't there and the overall experience was rubbish. I wouldn't recommend going there as it is very overpriced and poor quality. I also had a College interview and hooray! I got accepted! I will be studying Media, Photography, Maths, English, Science and more in Sussex Downs College. I have to do all of my GCSE's there as I was ill with gallstones and more throughout year 10 and 11. Anyway... now I'm in Cornwall, relaxing, enjoying the sun and hopefully getting a tan! I'm excited for the coming months with lots and lots in store for me, I'm turning 17 on September 4th, Starting College, getting baby Cashew and lots more. I am so happy and content at the moment. I hope things keep on improving!

I hope you're all having a fabulous summer! Keep an eye on here for lots more fashion posts!

I was recently asked to review Jacques Vert's new collaboration collections so here are my opinions and some information.

Jacques Vert, premier occasion wear brand based in Britain, collaborates with Lorcan Mullany - former Bellville Sassoon designer and Rachel Trevor-Morgan - milliner to the H.M. The Queen. They are launching an exclusive collection only available in eight stores and online at www.jacques-vert.co.uk, this exquisite collection is available to the public on May 24th, which is tomorrow - how exciting!

I recently had a sneak peak at both of these collections and just by looking at the photographs, you can see how exquisite each and every piece is.

Lorcan's collection features 14 divine dresses that flatter the figure including full length cocktail dresses for a formal evening with a selection of light shrugs, designed to flatter and keep the evenings chill away. The rest of her collection consists of some slightly shorter tailored dresses that are perfect for a day at the races or even a summertime wedding. With a beautiful palette of colours perfect for any occasion, this collection is truly exquisite and full of must have pieces for Summer 2014.

Rachel's collection includes 15 beautiful hats and headpieces that have been expertly crafted; they compliment Lorcan's daytime pieces perfectly. Floral embellishments, Dainty netting with a neutral colour palette, this very chic collection is sure to be a head turner at any event you might attend this summer.

Jacques Vert's collaboration collections will arrive in stores on May 24th with the full collection available online. Prices range from £299 to £399 for Lorcan Mullany's Collection and £129 to £179 for Rachel Trevor-Morgan's Collection.

My personal favourite dress is the Lorcan Spot Crepe Short Dress and my favourite headpiece is The Beaded Loop Hair Piece. Both pieces are featured above.
