Spring Skincare Picks - New Brand Lands In The UK And The Ultimate Sweat-Proof Product

[AD-PR - This blog post contains gifted items that were sent as PR samples]

With springtime in full swing, it's time to look ahead to the summer months and get ourselves ready for the warmer weather. From bringing your summer clothes to the front of your wardrobe to putting your full coverage foundation in a drawer until October, it's officially time to prep for the sunshine-filled days and balmy evenings.

As well as all of the above, I'm a huge fan of skincare, so with a new season looming it's a given that I'll up my game by adding some new beauty products into my routine. From a brand making its debut in Europe and the UK, to a product I was randomly sent as a gift that I can't get enough, scroll on to discover my current skincare obsessions.

AMĒON got in touch with me a few weeks ago and asked me if I wanted to try some of their products, so how could I refuse? Especially seeing as a new season was dawning. A brand that is already well-established in America, AMĒON is an innovative brand that offers two complete ranges that deliver incredible results. With products like their cryo treatment ice cubes and serums, and oh so dreamy face cream, it's hard not to get obsessed with this brand and the results that their products achieve.

I was super lucky to be gifted both of their sets (the radiance and retreat), which when combined create a deluxe set that comprises of two different essence ice cube sets, two different serums and the holy grail Holy Cream.

The radiance selection comprises of their Glow Manifesto Ice Cubes and Aurora Serum, while the retreat set comprises of their Supreme Energy Ice Cubes and Baby Buddha Serum. With both sets providing a cooling effect thanks to the cryo ice cubes, as well as a decrease in puffiness and redness, the sets also do different things too. With the radiance items you get a gorgeous glow and plumpness that allows you to ditch the makeup most days (perfect for the summer), while the retreat set helps with hormonal breakouts and ensures your skin is cool, calm and collected.

My favourite products to use of an evening are the Supreme Energy Ice Cubes, the Baby Buddha Serum, combined with the Holy Cream. Giving me a comforting finish, the retreat set is ideal for stressed and spot-prone skin, or as your evening regime. While the Glow Manifesto Ice Cubes and Aurora Serum work better for me in the mornings as they give my skin an instant boost and glow-y finish. But overall, I love both sets equally for their unique benefits.

I was gifted the Sweaty _Faace mask from Elomi (the lingerie brand) as part of a gift for National Lingerie Day, and ever since I started using it last month, I have been obsessed. Perfect for oil-prone skin, it's also great for pre, during or post workout. I tend to use this as a primer under makeup too, because it's honestly the best multi-tasker.

When I first read up about it, I was so confused as it's marketed as a face mask, but it does so much more and can be left on - hence why it can be used as a primer. It moisturises, soothes, tones and keeps your pores unclogged. The gel-like formula is packed full of vitamin C, along with antioxidants that help fight blemishes and external aggressors, and it even has a super refreshing tea-tree scent that almost tingles.

Overall, it's safe to say I am obsessed with these new additions to my skincare collection. I'm pretty sure that they will see me through from now until the end of summer thanks to the way in which they make my skin feel, look and most importantly GLOW! I've found that by using these products in-conjunction with each other - and at different times of the day have aided my skin in getting clear and looking even, blemish-free and full of life.
